White Marsh Child Care Center has proudly served families since 1984, offering a safe, nurturing place where children learn, play, and grow. Our programs range from infants through school-age and a focus on creativity, confidence, and care. We help every child build a bright foundation for lifelong learning.

Our Educators
Our educators bring both expertise and heart to every classroom. Each class is led by certified teachers committed to each child’s growth. Through ongoing professional development and career training, our educators continue to grow—ensuring every child benefits from inspired instruction and a supportive, consistent learning environment. We have built a strong reputation for hiring and retaining highly qualified educators with an average tenure of 15 years.
Prekindergarten classes are being led by educators with at least a Bachelor’s degree and current teaching certificate.
Curriculum
We offer a strong, developmentally appropriate curriculum that focuses on school readiness. As an MSDE-accredited program, our curriculum meets rigorous state standards while supporting each child’s academic, social, and emotional growth. Through engaging, age-appropriate instruction, we help children build essential early literacy and learning skills—preparing them with confidence for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond.
Developmental Screenings
We use the Brigance Assessment screening to monitor each child’s developmental progress. This trusted tool helps educators identify strengths and areas of growth early, this allows us to partner with families to support every child’s success. We keep a comprehensive portfolio of your child’s development throughout their time at the center allowing you to see their growth and progress.
Pre-K Expansion Grant
For the past 12 years, our center has been awarded the Prekindergarten Expansion Grant administered by the Division of Early Childhood at the Maryland State Department of Education. The purpose of the grant is to broaden availability and expand access to high-quality prekindergarten educational programs for qualifying families at no cost.
